SPA's Noontime Committee Announces Student Showcase Auditions

Any Penn State students interested in showcasing their musical talent, this is for you! The Student Programming Association’s Noontime committee is holding its auditions on October 24th and 25th at 6 pm in the SPA office (223 HUB). Each week SPA puts on its Noontime show, and it’s always a fun time for the students and the acts that perform. Students interested in performing should reach out to Michael Nunez at spanoontime@gmail.com. The official press release is below:

“The Student Programming Association’s Noontime concert series is holding auditions for its bi-annual Student Showcase for student musicians. The SPA Noontime Committee books weekly concerts in the HUB every Friday at Noon in the lounge above Panda Sushi. Every semester they host a Student Showcase, where they select about 5 or 6 student musicians to perform 10-15 minute sets from 12pm-2pm. This year the Student Showcase is on November 2nd, from 12pm-2pm. Auditions will be held in the SPA office in 223 HUB on October 24th and 25th at 6pm. Any musicians interested in scheduling an audition should contact Mike Nunez at spanoontime@gmail.com. If you have any questions about the Showcase, please email Mike Nunez or check out the Facebook event for the auditions.”
