SPA Noontime Presents: Dinner And A Suit!

Come grab a bite, or just hang out in the HUB-Robeson Center and listen to SPA’s Noontime show, Dinner And A Suit!

“Stop in between classes, grab something to eat downstairs, and join us in the Noontime lounge right above Panda Sushi!

In a music world where genre lines are increasingly blurred, Dinner And A Suit has emerged with a sonic meld that resonates with familiarity, and captivates with distinction.

Formed in New Jersey by cousins Jonathan Capeci, Joey Beretta and Anthony Genca, the trio is forging a path that reflects the band’s music itself: putting the right pieces in the right places at all the right times.

Since emerging in 2009, Dinner And A Suit quickly captured attention with a captivating blend of ethereal rock and distinguished pop – leading to critical acclaim, a swelling dedication of global fans and coveted live dates that have circled the band throughout the US.

Staff Pick – Music I'm Thankful For: Frank Ocean

My friend actually introduced me to his music a long time ago, and actually don’t think I liked it at first. Then as I kept listening to him I became obsessed. It’s the kind of music that just grows on you, and once you’re attached you can’t stop. His music is perfect for when you’re by yourself doing homework, studying, or even just hanging out with a friend. It puts you in the mood of just relaxing, while at the same time tells you a deep message through his songs.

I also admire him for coming out and telling everyone about his sexuality then writing songs about the man he loves. His songs are so touching and they have such a calm vibe to it. My personal favorite is his song “Thinkin Bout You” and I absolutely love the line, “We’ll go down this road till it turns from color to black and white.” Therefore I am very thankful for his music and how it has made me appreciate more in life.
