After releasing their sixth studio album, This River (2013), in April and finishing their summer tour — JJ Grey and Mofro will be joining us in State College on February 16th for a night that you won’t want to miss out on. Technically falling in the genre of a “blues rock band”, the Jacksonville, Florida natives play unique music ranging from sounds of southern rock, the blues, soul, and funk.
JJ Grey and Mofro also play consistently at summer festivals such as Bonnaroo, All Good Festival, and Austin City Limits. The band has really gave a name for itself within the blues/soul community as well as the jam band scene. They have toured with other popular jam bands such as Widespread Panic, Galactic, and Ben Harper.
