As we continue our countdown to Movin’ On, we examine the headliner of the side state. Air Dubai is a 6 piece band hailing from Denver, Colorado that cannot be defined by just one genre.They smoothly combine elements of hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and rock. All 6 members equally contribute to their original sound. While most bands from Denver seem to take the laid back and chilled out vibing route, Air Dubai continuously brings the energy. The began to record their 2011 EP Day Escape with producer Sylvia Massy, who has done work on albums for Johnny Cash, Red Hot Chili Peppers, System of a Down, Tom Petty, Sublime, and Tool. Music from that EP has been featured on multiple shows on MTV, most notably The Jersey Shore. Hopeless Records took note of this and quickly signed the band to their label in 2012. From then on, they have been working on a follow up album called BE CALM. It has also been announced that they will be part of the 2014 edition of Vans Warped Tour.
