Lots of students came out to the Generation Wild Tour 2013 at Levels Nightclub on Saturday for a night full of dancing, artificial smoke, and glow sticks. This tour is made up of a European EDM Supergroup, with three out of the four performers from Europe. Starting off the show was dBerrie, the only American of the night, who got everyone pumped up right from the start. He was followed by Sweden’s Mikael Weermets, whose energy and music brought the crowd up even more, preparing them for what was next. Straight from Spain at just 17 years old, Danny Avila brought the music and the energy in full force. Danny was jumping up and down, and the crowd followed suit. Dancers were on each other’s shoulders as glow sticks were being thrown into the crowd, and the smoke machine filled the dance floor. This continued for an hour, and just when everyone thought they were pretty worn out, Deniz Koyu made sure nobody stopped. The tour’s headliner from Germany played another hour set without letting up, and the crowd loved him. They cheered and yelled and jumped in unison a number of times throughout the set. When it was finally over, everyone was exhausted from hours and hours of dancing and EDM. Generation Wild Tour was a force to be reckoned with. Definitely keep your eyes open for more upcoming event at Levels Nightclub.
I also got to interview Deniz Koyu and Danny Avila before the show which you can read here!
