Attention everyone! There’s a new DJ in town! Blue Bubbles is a brand new chiptune/dubstep/electro project from Ålesund, Norway. Some may know him from the mashup-project, Norwegian Recycling, which has been going strong since 2007.
“Although I love mashing, I came to a certain point where I wanted to dig deeper into the sounds. So in between mashup-releases I spent a lot of time messing around with synths and plugins. And so Blue Bubbles was born…”

Blue Bubbles is at the moment very dubstep-influenced. He also loves melodies, so you might pick up a very musical vibe. Blue Bubbles also samples from non-electronic music songs to add more soul to the electronic side.
Madeon, Skrillex, Pretty Lights and Feed Me are the artists that have influenced Blue Bubbles most this past year, so you may hear many musical references towards them. However, he has made a serious attempt to sculpt out his own, distinct sound which you will hear throughout.
