Up and coming rapper Pusha T released a new song a few days ago with production credits from Kanye West and non other than Johnny Cash-impersonator, Joaquin Phoenix. “King Push” has the undeniable touch of West, (listen to “New Slaves” around the 2:40 mark for a similar sound,) and if the track is any inclination to what Phoenix can do in the studio, fingers crossed we hear more soon.
Pusha T’s highly anticipated solo debut is due out next week, though we’re sure it will be outshone by Miley’s Bangerz. Listen to and watch the video for “King Push” below.
