Movin' On's First Survey is Live!

Movin’ On in its 4th Year Since Renovation

Since 1975, an end of the year music festival, called Movin’ On, has taken place on the last Friday of classes each spring semester.  Each year, the names of the acts have gotten larger, and the best part is the festival is FREE to everyone.  The venue of the festival has changed over the years and so has the organization.  From East Halls, to the HUB lawn, and now on IM Field West, the festival has become one of the largest student-run music festivals in the country.  Four years ago, Movin’ On decided to merge with its now collaborating organizations ARHS, UPUA, and SPA to create a large end of the year festival instead of smaller concerts that each organization had previously organized.  With the merger, the festival moved from the HUB lawn to IM Field West and is still growing to this day.

Last year, the festival had an attendance of over 15,000 people from all over the country with MGMT as its headliner.  This year, they hope to increase the attendance and want your help deciding who we should bring to Movin’ On 2014.  Taking this short survey will greatly help them choose artists that truly reflect the opinions of the student body.  You can also get involved in the Movin’ On organization by filling out their CORE Committee application found on their WEBSITE.  Be sure to follow Movin’ On on Twitter (@psumovinon) and like them on Facebook for more updates!

Past acts have included MGMT, Big Boi, Brand New, Gloriana, Kids These Days, Avett Brothers, Ludacris, Young the Giant, O.A.R., Lupe Fiasco, and Mayday Parade.
