Carrie Brandon is hosting an evening concert featuring herself and a few guest performances on Sunday, October 20. The event will be free to everybody, but donations for Breast Cancer Awareness Month are graciously accepted. Make sure to spread the word about this great cause all around campus. “Hi Everyone! I want to invite you to something that I am so excited for! On Sunday October 20th at 6pm I will be doing a concert of mostly my original songs (with a couple covers and perhaps even guest performers sprinkled here and there). This will be the first time I’ve done my own show here at Penn State, and I really hope you can be there.
Because it is October, Breast Cancer Awareness Month, I wanted to do this concert to do some good. I can’t officially make this a fundraiser, and admission is completely free, however donations are accepted and I would love to raise as much money as possible as well as awareness! Breast Cancer research has been a cause extremely close to my heart ever since my amazing mother was diagnosed last year. She is doing extremely well now, however there are many people out there who are not so lucky, and I want to do whatever I can to help stop this terrible disease.
