State In The Real – Penn State Music Scene

The First Installment of LRB's Spring Releases

Penn State’s own Malik LRB dropped this video a couple weeks ago as the first installment of his “LRB Spring Releases” series. “Call Me Maybe” is a catchy track that features the chorus that we all know and hate love, and two and a half verses over Aaron Cipala’s well crafted beat. Then, after a quick shout out to Salt-n-Pepa, the song and video go into hyper drive. The buildup starts with the “D-d-d-d-d-d-d-drop the bass!” segment from Skrillex’s remix of “Cinema”, and then charges straight into a sped-up version of the unforgettable “Push It” beat. LRB takes the whole track home from there and truly shows why he’s one of Penn State’s best. Check out the video below and make sure to give him a shout out on Facebook, Twitter, and YouTube.
